’03 Gumball 3000 Team Polizei SF- Vegas
Check out some footage from the 2003 Gumball Rally shot in the Polize German BMW. The footage is from San Francisco to Las Vegas which was the first leg of the 2003 rally. Watch this footage as they soar through the state of California.
Some great highway footage from the 2005 Gumball 3000 race from a mounted in car camera. They run with a blue BMW for a while until overtaking it and continuing down the interstate.
Granted this 2001 silver BMW 330i isn’t quite the pinnacle of luxury or enduldging in a vice but this story was too good to pass up and BMW has a full line of cars better than this one that we like. This BMW was illegally parked at Calico Jack’s Oyster Bar in Gainesville, Florida. As the car sat at 3502 SW 2nd Avenue the city police issued illegal parking tickets for it.
The real question we have is how was the car ticketed 7 times and not towed by the city yet? The first parking ticket was issued February 12th and he was just located this Monday (Feb. 23rd). He was on the passenger side rear seat facing forward with the keys to the BMW in his hand. A handgun was also found in the trunk of the car. The police have claimed no foul play was involved in the death. They claim illegal window tint made them unable to recognize the man in the backseat but a person called it in to 911 on Monday stating they saw a man in the car. This is one of the oddity books for sure.

Of course the new “greatest driving road in the world” would be built anywhere else but in the UAE. As one of the richest countries in the world why wouldn’t you build an amazing 60 turn road in 6 miles? The road is located in Abu Dhabi which is the capitol of United Arab Emirates. The road is basically constant corner indulgence all the way to the highest point of UAE in 6 quick miles. When you visit make sure to grab a luxury rental and head that way. Tiff denies the title of greatest driving road in the world but hands it the best driveway in the world.
2009+BMW+5+Series+GT+Concept+Unveil
They call it a 5 Series Gran Tursimo and it has a two piece double jointed tailgate. It’s not the most gorgeous BMW we have ever seen but we kind of like it. Four seats in this sedan and perhaps this style will grow me as some of the other newer BMW’s have done. The video shows the official unveiling so enjoy!
Check out the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon which is the first show of the year to always get everyone very excited. LuxuryVice toured the showroom floor hunting down some of the best looking rides of the show. KW Suspension brought out an awesome pink BMW that you can see above. Liberty Walk Performance had the most gorgeous Lamborghini we have ever seen in our life on display in a gorgeous white color above as well. To top it all off Lexus drug out the LF-A which has had rumors circulating for months if this will become a real car or remain a concept.

This BMW X5 M was spotted with very minimal camo and coverage over at LeftLaneNews.com. We know through videos that the X5 M has been receiving some grueling on track testing from the BMW engineers but no hard details about the vehicle have come out yet until now. Rumors are saying that it will carry a 4.4L turbocharged V8 with around 407 horsepower. BMW also has not confirmed if the car will be officialy part of the “M” class or a xDrive50i. Whatever they call it looks like it will be one pretty solid soccer mom sled.

Check this insane BMW M5 out as it cold crank starts and scares a little kitten so cruising down the street. This car is insane, a great find from the Streetfire.net crew for sure. We need to message this guy and find out how our local BMW’s can terrorize Rodeo Drive like this on the weekends.
While clearly no one at BMW reads about the carpocalypse they feel the best way to do well in 2009 is to not sell more cars but to hike the price of the cars they will sell. BMW has announced a 0.7% price increase on all BMW models. This price hike will go into effect on January 1st, 2009 so this New Year’s Eve you should consider buying a M6 perhaps? Of course BMW has been kind enough to inform us that this will just ensure profits for the US Operations and maintain a quality of business.

We already showed you the video of this BMW Z4 drifting around with paint on it’s tires creating a BMW Performance Art project. Now we have found an bird’s eye view photograph of the event. Looks pretty exciting, they needed to do some faster speed entries it looks like but hey, this is BMW! They did flip the script very well on the old art cars that had art created on the car and not art created with a car.
