Yes, what your looking at above is a 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante found in a garage in the United Kingdom. This car is one of 17 Bugatti ever made. This one belonged to a British surgeon who passed away recently leaving his children a garage full of collectable cars. This was the true gem of the bunch which reportidly had not been driven in almost 50 years. At least four of the seventeen belong to the French Musée National de l’Automobile in Mulhouse, Alsace, while the others location are in private hands or remain unknown.
The odometer on the car reads 26,284 which is remarkable for a car from the 1930′s. The first owner of the vehicle was Earl Howe, the winner of the 24 Hours of LeMans in May of 1937. He had the car for eight years before selling it and eventually in 1955 it made it’s way to Harold Carr. The car is causing a big stir among collectors who think it could possibly be the most expensive car ever to be bought at auction surpassing the current $8,700,000 mark held by a 1931 Bugatti currently.

We already showed you the video of this BMW Z4 drifting around with paint on it’s tires creating a BMW Performance Art project. Now we have found an bird’s eye view photograph of the event. Looks pretty exciting, they needed to do some faster speed entries it looks like but hey, this is BMW! They did flip the script very well on the old art cars that had art created on the car and not art created with a car.

Now you may not be eager to tear up your own C63 AMG in the ice but now Mercedes has an outlet where you can do it body damage free. This new game on the site allows you in German or English to drive a C63 AMG or a SL63 AMG around in the ice. Don’t have any wall collisions like I kept having because it will destroy your total time. If you need to burn a good 15 minutes at work this is a solid way to do it.

Jalopnik wrote this amazing piece on the unregulated exotic rental car market and the shadiness and tricks used in this whole operation. Cars not properly insured and sub leased exotics of people to held cover car payments is just the icing on the cake according to this article from Jalopnik.

Here is a snap shot of a stretch limo Maybach 72 with a price tag of $780,000. The normal Maybach 62 is priced at $390,000 and is a great cruiser for someone looking to be driven around town. The 72 is basically stretched to accommodate two more full sized seats. That is one upgrade that seems rather steep!

Splash News spotted this Aston Martin delivering pizza in 30 minutes or less. If Domino’s converted to an Aston Martin fleet I think that is a promise they could keep. Aside from the fact that a month’s salary from Domino’s could not fund an oil change in this machine we think it’s a spoof but still, very hilarious.

That is right, your 2009 Mercedes S-class will have even more options for you to select next spring when it comes out. While double vision never has seemed to be a good thing while driving in the past or a really bad Foreigner song stuck in your head while cruising the 101, this is a new age in car technology. Bosch created this split navigation vision which you can see in the image above allows the driver and passenger to have two different viewing mediums at the same time. The system aligns the pixels next to each other and filters the pixels to allow both people look at alternative screens.

Ben from Bulletproof Automotive was posting today about a customer he has been helping out in Bahrain with this R35 Skyline pictured above. He was kind enough to send Ben some photos of his car collection including this Porsche and quite a few more rides. I always love looking at car collections from other parts of the world. Bahrain for you geographically challenged people is an island just north west of Qatar in the middle east.
Check out the whole collection: http://gt-rr.com/gt-r/r35/_customer_car/part/ebrahims_car/pid/304#

This was sent to me by a friend who lives in Dubai. Instead of normal bumper cars your kids here can ram expensive exotic replica’s into one another. How exciting can you get for a young child? They are training kids for wreckedexotics.com early in life. We have debated at the office of the origin of the bumpers cars and cannot come to any agreement, any thoughts of a car they could be based off of?
