This has to be the greatest automotive commercial made in quite some time. Without saying anything
the new Audi R8 makes quite the statement with this video. Audi drives the new V10 Audi R8 straight through the heart of Italian motorsports country and the results are too be expected. The only way you could of made these Ferrari loving fans more pist was have Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel!
Day 4 was a pretty long hike with two pit stops including the Caddy Ranch and a lunch at the Big Texas Steak Ranch. After those quick checkpoints the drivers headed south in Texas towards downtown Dallas, Texas. At the W Hotel we were treated to some A class service and a great party on the roof at Ghost Bar. Enjoy the content from Day 4.
Day 1 is now complete which was a fairly small leg of 250 miles. We started at the Santa Monica Pier and made a swing through Orange County for the D1GP event. After leaving Orange County it was a straight dash up I-15 to Las Vegas, Nevada. We have some great photos of the Brabus Mercedes SL, purple Audi R8, the Bugatti’s and much much more!
The Fuel Girls invade the Gumball 3000 rally and chat it up with David Hasselhoff. You can spot some gorgeous cars from the 2008 rally including a Gumpert Apollo, a bomber style Ferrari 360 Modena, and one tool’d out Jaguar. The 2009 Gumball Rally starts in 2 weeks so stay tuned here for the best coverage.
A Ferrari built to tribute the General Lee was taken on the European Gumball Rally and co-piloted by our good friend Jarod DeAnda. You can see him in this picture above sitting on the passenger side of the vehicle. This might be the best Gumball 3000 ride we have seen to date.
With the 2009 Gumball Rally just around the corner we have to relive some of the year’s past greatest moments. In this video from the 2006 European Rally you will find a camo Rolls Royce slam into a guardrail at full speed destroying the machine. A Ferrari Enzo spinning out and a Bentley flying off the side of the road. Get ready for a wild ride in 2009 as the drivers travel from Los Angeles to Miami.
Heavy Hitters Magazine takes us to Westlake Village for the Annual California Highway Patrol 9-11 Foundation run. Cars like a black Gumpert Apollo, Porsche Carrera GT, Maserati MC-12, and much more were in attendance for this show. Check out head editor John Jarasa as he takes you around the show.
Well I know this image hurts you on the inside (unless your a McLaren fan) but something is alluring about exotics on fire. Recently we posted the Lamborghini BBQ which was started by two kids but this looks like a much more serious issue. Not much information was posted with this picture but one thing we do know is no one will be driving this Ferrari anytime soon.
The exterior of the Ferrari F50 has to be one of the most gorgeous looking vehicles on earth made to date! We just did a mini story on the Liberty Walk Ferrari F50 earlier this month which blew us away. Now with this photo you can stare at the gauge cluster like you were behind the wheel of your very own F50. At least while you stare at this photo during work in your horrible Office Depot chair you can close your eyes and pretend your in a Ferrari F50.
Middle Path Productions produced and uploading this Vimeo video from the October 2008 Cars and Coffee event that took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I had no clue the car collections would be this nice up in the cold north but I would say a very nice turnout for the Minnesota crowd. Some very nice filming style and music to compliment the event and cars as well.
