You have to love these Ferarri’s with hacked up Toyota parts…… A sticker some guys on the 2010 Gumball 3000 rally were running read as above. “WARNING: This car is equipped with a Toyota gas pedal; if you see it speeding it is actually out of the driver’s control…. honest officer!” We are going to have to try this one soon on our cars.

Targa Trophy Road Rally Announces 2010 Schedule
Los Angeles, Calif. – April 27, 2010 – Targa Trophy, North America’s premier automotive lifestyle rally event, has announced the official 2010 schedule of events. The three events of the season will be held in three separate regions including Southern California, Northern California, and Arizona.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Targa Trophy road rally will hold a series of events, and for the second consecutive year the event series will be a Triple Crown that bridges together three key markets. Various W Hotels will serve as the host of the event series beginning with the brand new W Hollywood to W San Diego on June 25 and 26. W San Francisco and W Silicon Valley will host the second event on August 27 and 28, with W Scottsdale, Arizona ending the series on October 22 and 23, 2010.
Each location will include an immersive and interactive experience for the participants and fans of the rally. Each event will include public/private receptions, driver awards ceremonies, expo showcase, and public pre- and after-parties all held on the W Hotel properties. Targa Trophy will integrate the entertainment industry through live film screenings of the automotive and racing niche genres including Hollywood productions, independent films and documentaries.
“We are tremendously pleased with the destinations and the schedule of events this year,” said Jason Overell, founder of Targa Trophy. “Targa Trophy will bring a never-before seen lifestyle experience to the participants and fans of not only car culture but those interested in music, fashion, art, design, and entertainment.”
The events will be highlighted by one hundred driver participants with a range of vehicles that include sportscars, supercars, and everything in between. A nightlife component will be held at each venue to begin and end the events with a celebration. Additional features will be added per event with more information to follow.

2011 McLaren MP4-12C in Orange Rear View
We just recently saw a video of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton flogging, abusing, and “testing” the new McLaren supercar. We kind of liked it when McLaren and Mercedes were still releasing factory cars together but we can settle for the MP4-12C. Sadly 600+ people ordered the car a little too late since they have taken 1,600 orders and have intention of making 1,000 cars. Something tells me they will have some flakes so I think people will have no problem getting their hands on the car.

Bugatti Veyron for sale on Craigslist
Jalopnik I am pretty sure a few weeks ago tracked down a Ferrari Enzo in Texas that was on Craigslist. An even more pathetic listing is this Bugatti Veyron for sale in Burbank, California. I love how these dealers list $1,000,000 cars on the same website with missed connections/casual encounters as their upper class super car. Then they complain about all the flaked buyers……….. perhaps upgrade your listing to Jameslist when you have some spare time? Enjoy the screen cap because we are guessing this will come down like the Enzo listing.

So everyone is busy calling him the worst man on earth blah blah but he deserves it for cheating on Sandra Bullock. Anyway, this is flat black Jaguary XJR with some excellent wheels packed with some pretty spot on fitment. While the Jaguar XJR is a lame car choice at least he did his up right.

Wolf Henzler was piloting the Falken Tire Porsche 997 GT3 when his passenger side rear wheel just shot off at turn three. It’s a crazy little video and his wheel ends up contacting one of the Corvette factory cars before flying way off track. The Falken Tire team looks much better for 2010 and even lead some of the race.

Falken Tires has decided to purchase a new Porsche for the 2010 season meaning they will get some factory drivers to boot. The car is looking good and we cannot wait until the Long Beach Grand Prix. This test was going on at Sebring when the photos were taken.

The Auto Collection sprawls a whole floor of the Imperial Palace parking deck that they sealed off and provided a proper setting for hundreds of classic cars. Most of the collection is for sale so if you hit it big at the roulette table then clearly this is where you should head before you lose it all. I have already been twice this year and some new cars have come in and cars have been sold and rotated out. With that being said you should really make sure you visit once a year I would say and it will be a whole new experience.
